On St. Patty’s Day, the Southern Writers Theatre will present a reading of Mrs. John Marsh, a one-woman play about Gone With the Wind author Margaret Mitchell, at the Williamson County Public Library in Franklin, TN.

Mitchell won the Pulitzer for Gone with the Wind, which was published in May 1936, 75 years ago. David O. Selznick’s 1939 film adaptation received 10 Academy Awards; in 2007, the movie was ranked sixth in the American Film Institute’s 100 greatest American films of all time. Gone With The Wind has sold more tickets in the U.S. than any other film.
