The Southern Writers Theatre is sponsoring a free performance of “Mrs. John March” on St. Paddy’s Day at the Williamson County Public Library.

Mitchell’s writing of Gone With the Wind was built on the many aspects of her life as a native southerner, a woman, a journalist, and on her Irish ancestors. “Mrs. John Marsh,” written by Atlanta playwright Melita Easters and played by Kandace Christian, a local actor, brings to life a span of 90 years of the history, as well as the three wars that those years enveloped, of the nation in which we dwell. The production will be directed by Dr. Jamie Cutler, actor, academician, playwright, and Grammy-nominated song writer.
